Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026

Tiny Explorers is a learning app for children ages 2 to 8, made by Marjhorie D Mahinay ("we"). We built it so families never have to trade privacy for learning. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal information, from children or adults.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. We never receive your child's name, voice, photos, location, contacts or device identifiers.

What stays on your devices

Internet use

Tiny Explorers works fully offline. The only network request is in the optional NASA Space Photos activity, which downloads public images from NASA's image library (images-api.nasa.gov). The request contains only a fixed space search word, such as "moon surface". Like any web request, it reveals your network's IP address to NASA's servers, but nothing about your child. Parents can turn this feature off in the app's grown-up area.

Pip's voice

Pip's narration is AI-generated speech that was recorded in advance and is built into the app. Nothing your child says or does is recorded, and the app never uses the microphone, camera or location.

Links and purchases

There are no ads and no in-app purchases. The only links out of the app (to this website and to email us) are in the grown-up area, behind a parental gate.

Children's privacy

Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing for us to review, export, correct or delete. Tiny Explorers is designed to follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU and UK GDPR, and Apple's App Store rules for the Kids Category.

Deleting your data

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. We will never start collecting children's personal information without first obtaining verifiable parental consent.
